Web Design fees
Our hosting charges and special one-page site fees are fixed, but we like to remain flexible with our web design fees. Everyone's requirements are so different. Custom designs typically start from $800 for a straightforward site and $2,000 for sites with e-commerce features (hosting not included). Contact us to receive a no-obligation quote based on the following:
- How many pages your site will have
- How complex your business is and how this will be reflected in the site structure
- Whether good-quality images are available or whether we have to source these
- How much input you require in preparing the text content for the site
- Whether you require assistance in setting up a shopping cart
- Urgency!

All sites come with free search engine optimisation (SEO) as a standard feature in our initial setup - not as an additional cost. We believe all sites should designed with this in mind from the start. We can also continue to monitor ranking progress for you as part of a future maintenance plan.

It's easy to get your site up and running with e-compass. We'll guide you through just a few easy steps to getting online:
- Contact us to discuss what type of website suits your needs and any design ideas you have.
- Register a domain, if you don't already have one.
- Decide on the site structure (number and type of pages).
- Provide us with images for the site (logos, business stationery, corporate brochures, photos, etc)
- Provide us with your text - we can help with writing this if required.
- View and approve the final web design.
- GO LIVE!
How long will it take?
Well, that depends on how complex your website is and how much material you are able to provide us with up front. But normally your site will be live in under a month from the time we receive your go-ahead to proceed with the design. And once the design is approved, the final Go Live step can take up to a few hours, but is often instant once we hit that button!
Payment terms
We require 50% of the design fees paid as a deposit before starting work on your website. The remaining 50% and first month's hosting fee (unless included in a package deal) must be paid to enable the site to go live.
